Retailers likely saw a healthy pickup in sales in June, fueled by a brighter jobs picture and savory deals. As of Wednesday, analysts were expecting June sales at stores open at least a year to rise 4.9% vs. a year earlier, according to Ken Perkins, president of Retail Metrics.
