Rex Energy Announces Date of Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2009 Earnings Release

RexEnergy Corporation (“Rex Energy”) (Nasdaq:REXX – News) announced today its plans to release fourth quarter and year-end 2009 earnings Tuesday, March 2, 2010 after the market closes. In conjunction with the release, the company will host a conference call and webcast to review financial and operating highlights on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. Representing Rex Energy on the call will be Benjamin W. Hulburt, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Thomas C. Stabley, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
