Saints go to First Super Bowl with a 31-28 Victory over the Vikings in OT

The New Orlean Saints are marching to their first Super Bowl in team history.  The Saints took advantage of countless turnovers by the Minnesota Vikings to a victory in OT.  On the last minutes of regulation, the Vikings were within field goal range but a penalty and an interception by Brett Favre put the game into overtime and the Saints on their first possession went down the field and scored on a 40 year field goal.

The final score was 31-28 in favor of the Saints.

Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings had more yardage than the high powered offense of the Saints but repeated fumbles by Adrian Peterson and two interceptions by Brett Favre prevented them from scoring more points.  The Super Bowl matchup will be the New Orlean Saints versus the Indianapolis Colts.
