The company UTX, -1.28%  was originally scheduled to be one of six components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average to report results ahead of the stock market’s open on Tuesday. “Due to the inclement weather expected in the Northeast on Tuesday,” the company said it plans to reveal results at 4 p.m. Eastern on Monday. Of the other Dow companies reporting early Tuesday, Procter & Gamble PG, -0.89%  is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Caterpillar CAT, +0.41%  is based in Peoria, Ill., and 3M MMM, -0.49%  is based in St. Paul, Minn.

Separately, a spokesperson for Pfizer rival Bristol-Myers Squibb told MarketWatch that the New York-based drug giant still expects to report results early Tuesday: “Yes, we are on schedule, and don’t anticipate making any changes now.”

Hopkinton, Mass.-based data-storage company EMC Corp. announced earlier that it was delaying its earnings release one day to Thursday morning.
