Drew Rosenhaus: ‘Bengals have expressed some interest in Terrell’ Owens
With their options dwindling, the Cincinnati Bengals may have to ratchet up consideration of adding WR Terrell Owens.
Owens’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said the team is mulling his client on SIRIUS NFL Radio on Friday night.
“Right now I would say that everyone knows that the Cincinnati Bengals have expressed some interest in Terrell, and they have spoken with him and myself,” Rosenhaus said.
“Where we go from here I’m not sure, but I think it’s at least a positive dialogue. And we represent another great receiver on Cincinnati in Chad Ochocinco who would love to have No. 81 as his teammate. And we’ll just see how that plays out. But certainly that’s something that is a possibility. I guess that’s about the most I can say right now.”
Ochocinco and Owens could potentially form a dynamite combination. And just imagine an encore season of Hard Knocks on HBO!
And T.O. would fill QB Carson Palmer‘s desire of a big receiver, something exiled WR Laveranues Coles said he could not do in 2009.
Palmer told the Bengals’ website Saturday that “I’d love to” play with Owens.
