ESPN Reporter Britt McHenry Chews Out a Parking Lot Attendant, Attacks Her Appearance and Education—Watch Now!
It looks like Britt McHenry might not be having the best April.
A video emerged on LiveLeak Thursday of a woman who appears to be the famous ESPN reporter chewing out a parking lot attendant. The footage, which includes audio, purportedly shows McHenry berating the female attendant, criticizing her looks and education.
In a tweet from April 6 that has since been deleted, McHenry posted an angry message about her car being towed in Arlington, Virginia, but website ARLnow managed to save the social media exchange. “Just got towed after eating dinner at an establishment in Arlington. How corrupt is Advanced Towing?” she wrote.
Although the video doesn’t show what sparked the onslaught of comments, it’s clear that McHenry was none too pleased. “I’m in the news sweetheart, I will f–king sue this place,” she says to the attendant.

She continues her rant against the employee (not visible), criticizing her appearance and her job. “Lose some weight, baby girl” and “So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing?” are just some of the choice lines from the video. She also accuses the attendant of not having a brain.
“Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me huh?” she asks. “‘Cause they look so stunning…‘Cause I’m on television and you’re in a f–king trailer, honey.”
ESPN has seen the footage and tells E! News, “We are aware of a recent exchange between Britt McHenry and a towing company employee. We are now reviewing the matter with her.”

McHenry released a statement soon after, writing, “In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”
The sports network has had some trouble with its talent as of late, with Keith Olbermann‘s Twitter rant taking the spotlight in February. He had made a crack about Penn State, which the network ultimately suspended him for after tremendous backlash. Olbermann also apologized for his social media faux pas on the same platform.
“I apologize for the PSU tweets. I was stupid and childish and way less mature than the students there who did such a great fundraising job,” he tweeted.
