Porsche Panamera photos, Jeep Wrangler and Ford Fiesta ST Spied | Autoblog Minute
[00:00:00] We got more spy shots this week of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. The most recent spy shots show a Wrangler Mule with the current interior and and an eight-speed automatic shifter fitted in place of the old five-speed unit. Our spies also reported that they heard the unmistakable sound of a diesel coming from the Jeep. These pics don’t show it, but the next-generation Wrangler will be using aluminum for weight-savings, have a pickup version, and offer new engines. Read Autoblog’s coverage for more details.
Leaked photos give us a glimpse of the 2017 Porsche Panamera
[00:00:30] ahead of its official debut next week. The first thing we notice in these images is how the overall shape seems to hold for 2017. It still has four doors and a hatchback and it’s clearly a Porsche but the details of these images show a car that’s not bulbous or ungainly like the car it will be replacing. Lighting, front and rear, is inspired by the latest 718 models. And under the sleek hood seems to be a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine. We’re also expecting a range of six- and eight-cylinder engines, as well as, a plug-in hybrid variant. The interior photos show off an analog tachometer surrounded by digital dials. The back seat looks plenty roomy
[00:01:00] and looks to have a touch-sensitive control surface at the rear of the center console, as well as, a large infotainment screen. Production details for the 2017 Panamera are set to come out June 28th.
We got spy shots this week from what could be the new 2018 Ford Fiesta ST. While these shots are similar to the standard Fiesta hatchback there are a few details that lead us to speculate. The lower grill could be an intercooler. The upper grill and spoiler look bigger on this ST than the regular Fiesta. The multi-spoke wheels are from the current Fiesta ST. Expected as a
[00:01:30] 2018 model-year vehicle, we could see the Fiesta ST debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. For Autoblog I’m Chris McGraw.
