NEW YORK (TheStreet) -TheStreet Ratings' stock model upgraded Ark Restaurants(ARKR) to 'Buy' from 'Hold'. Net income at this $50 million market cap, New York City based restaurant group grew by 83% in fiscal third quarter ending July 3 to $2.9 million over the same quarter the prior year. Fiscal third quarter revenue at Ark Restaurants increased by 13% to $35 million over the third quarter of 2009. Ark Restaurants paid its regular quarterly dividend last week of 25 cents per share or a current annual dividend yield of 6.9%. The loosening of corporate expense accounts and family budgets allows for more frequent restaurant dining. Besides the lousy economy, part of the appeal is access to a washing machine and dryer and home-cooked meals. The pattern allows for a retail job or maybe one as a bartender.
