Delta Airlines -- stung by a YouTube video from a pair of disgruntled, returning soldiers -- says it will reimburse the $200 per bag it charged each member of the unit who brought back more than three pieces of luggage from Afghanistan.

In all, the 34-member unit racked up $2,800 on out-of-their-own-pocket fees.

The video, posted Tuesday by one of the soldiers, has gotten more than 200,000 views on YouTube.

The two soldiers, Army Staff Sgts. Robert O'Hair and Fred Hilliker, taped the video while flying from Baltimore to Atlanta on their way to Fort Polk, La.

They say in the video that it was their understanding that the Army contract with Delta allows each to carry four bags free of charge.

The four-bag policy, however, applies to first-class travelers, Delta says. Soldiers traveling in coach can carry only three at no charge.

Still, Delta now says it is working with the soldiers individually "to make the situation right with them." In addition, it is changing its policy to allow five bags free in first class, and four in coach for soldiers traveling under orders.

Delta, on its blog, adds:

We regret that this experience caused these soldiers to feel anything but welcome on their return home. "We honor their service and are grateful for the sacrifices of our military service members and their families.

The blog also carries a string of comments from angry vets over the incident.

In his video, O'Hair says that his fourth bag included, among other things, a weapons case and grenade launcher. In other words, "the tools I use to protect myself and Afghan citizens while I was deployed in the country."

Hilliker then looks into the camera and, in a voice heavy with sarcasm, says: "Good business model, Delta, thank you. ... Not happy. Not happy at all."
